    Tragicomedy. Definition: Ah, the tragicomedy. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll eat a whole bag of popcorn. Tragicomedy is a mixed genre that blends tragic and comic conventions. Gioachino Antonio Rossini was born into a family of musicians in Pesaro, a town on the Adriatic coast of Italy which was then part of the Papal father, Giuseppe, was a horn player and inspector of slaughterhouses.
